Banana Brownies

Fudgy, naturally sweet brownies made with ripe bananas and simple wholesome ingredients.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20–25 minutes

Total Time: 30–35 minutes

Servings: 6–8 brownies

Ingredients:

    •    194g ripe banana (about 1 large), mashed

    •    90g maple syrup

    •    36g cocoa powder

    •    96g coconut flour

    •    6g vanilla extract

    •    2 eggs

    •    25g Fairlife milk

    •    30g Hu semi-sweet chocolate chips

    •    ½ tsp baking soda

    •    ½ tsp baking powder

    •    Pinch of sea salt

Instructions:

    1.    Preheat oven to 350°F and line a small baking dish with parchment paper.

    2.    In a bowl, mash the banana until smooth.

    3.    Add maple syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until fully combined.

    4.    Stir in cocoa powder, coconut flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt until a thick batter forms.

    5.    Fold in chocolate chips.

    6.    Spread evenly into your prepared pan.

    7.    Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.

    8.    Let cool completely before slicing to allow them to firm up and get extra fudgy.

Notes:

    •    Coconut flour absorbs a lot, don’t worry if the batter is thick!

    •    For extra gooey brownies, slightly underbake and let them set as they cool

    •    Store in the fridge for best texture
