Strawberry Rhubarb Spritz

If you’re looking for a refreshing drink, this is a must make!

Ingredients (1 drink)

  • 2–3 tbsp homemade strawberry rhubarb syrup

      • 1 cup strawberries, chopped

      • 1 cup rhubarb, chopped

      • 1 tbsp coconut sugar

      • ⅓ cup maple syrup

      • 1 cup water

      Instructions

      1. Add the strawberries, rhubarb, coconut sugar, maple syrup, and water to a saucepan.

      2. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.

      3. Cook for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit has broken down and the mixture is deep pink and fragrant.

      4. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing gently on the fruit to extract all the syrup.

      5. Let cool completely and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

  • ½ of a mini bottle of prosecco (about 90–100 mL)

  • Culture Pop Strawberry Rhubarb soda, to top

  • Ice

  • Fresh strawberries or rhubarb ribbon, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Fill a wine glass with ice.

  2. Add 2–3 tablespoons of homemade strawberry rhubarb syrup.

  3. Pour in ½ of a mini bottle of prosecco.

  4. Top with Culture Pop Strawberry Rhubarb soda.

  5. Stir gently and garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.
