The BEST Grilled Chicken

Simple, bold, and perfectly charred, this is the kind of grilled chicken you’ll make on repeat

Ingredients:

Grilled Chicken

• 1 lb chicken breast
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1–2 tsp Trader Joe’s Aglio Olio seasoning
• Salt + pepper
• Olive oil (light drizzle or spray)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat.

  2. Lightly drizzle or spray chicken with olive oil.

  3. Season generously with garlic powder, onion powder, Aglio Olio seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  4. Place chicken on the hot grill and cook undisturbed for 5–6 minutes to get a deep char.

  5. Flip and cook another 5–6 minutes until fully cooked and blackened on both sides.

  6. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes:

• A little oil helps create that perfect golden + blackened crust
• High heat + not moving the chicken = best results
• Super juicy on the inside with that crispy outside
• Perfect for bowls, wraps, salads, or meal prep
